IFSCA Invites Bids for DRR Implementation
Regulatory / Technology Infrastructure

IFSCA requests proposals for its Digital Regulatory Reporting system implementation.

The International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to develop and deploy a Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) system. This digital infrastructure is intended to modernize and streamline regulatory filings, reporting workflows, and compliance monitoring across regulated entities in GIFT IFSC.
The DRR system aims to offer real-time, standardized channels for submission of regulatory returns, disclosures, audit reports, and related documentation. With automation and digital validation, the system is expected to reduce manual errors, speed up review cycles, and enhance transparency of regulatory oversight. It also supports data analytics and early detection of compliance anomalies.
By making the RFP public, IFSCA encourages technology vendors and fintech firms to partner in building a robust, scalable architecture. The vendor will need to ensure resilience, data security, encryption, standardized reporting formats, and interface with existing systems.
This move is consistent with IFSCA’s broader push towards tech-driven regulation (RegTech) to support growth without compromising oversight. Over time, the DRR system could serve as the digital backbone for cross-entity coordination, risk monitoring, and supervisory checks within GIFT IFSC’s expanding financial ecosystem.
Entities regulated under IFSCA should prepare to adapt their internal reporting processes, internal systems, and data flows to integrate with the new DRR platform once deployed. As the DRR system is rolled out, we can expect more agile regulatory engagement and deeper data insights for both regulators and regulated firms.
